Meet + Pick up

  • We meet in public, safe and visible spaces so it would be hard to miss us, whether outside your hotel lobby or right on the Beltline.

  • We'll take a quick inspection of the bike to ensure it's in good working condition, and just like Goldilocks - sized juuust right!

  • Swing on the Musette! Scan over the digital guide.

Every rental comes with a helmet, lock and bell. Accessories like phone mounts and baskets make for an elevated ride.

  • We'll go over the drop-off schedule and where we'll meet again after your adventure.

Finally, we’ll review any other expectations like safety, security, and recommendations.

Ride!

  • Get your heart pumping and legs turning!

If you see this, thank you dearly for NOT being a part of Atlanta’s infamous traffic woes.

  • With the included chain lock, rest easy that you can park securely wherever you please to stop. Bike racks are common to find throughout the city.

4

Meet + Drop off

  • Alas, we meet again - same place, different time.

  • Here comes the slew of questions about your time exploring ATL. I want to hear all about your adventure!

  • Let's take a quick look at the bike to make sure there's no new damage.

Also, we'll check that you've returned all the add-ons borrowed with the bike.

If all is well and there's no damage, we'll promptly return your security deposit.

  • Post those pictures and savor your memories.

Word on the Street

  • Very much fun. Jane was great to work with. Like-new bikes!

    Frank R.

  • The best bike rental we've used in Atlanta! ...the service went above and beyond with Jane walking us through biking 101 and providing recommendations, and overall pick-up/drop off was easy. Above all the bikes we used were excellent quality!

    Emily L.

  • Proper rental bikes! I regularly ride bikes and when traveling I like to rent something quality. These are some quality bikes and that they meet you is just another bonus. Top notch service.

  • I had a fantastic bike rental experience with Musette last week. Jane was extremely responsive to my questions afterwards They prepped me for the bike delivery, explained what we needed about the bikes and the included package. Absolutely painless! The goodie bag they provided was a very thoughtful surprise. We chose the "Agile Rippers" and they were perfect for our casual riding. I will use them again without hesitation.

  • We rented bikes during a trip to visit in early October. Excellent service and the rental included helmets and bike locks as well as a bag with snacks, sunscreen and lip balm! An all around excellent service and with the Beltline as the easiest way to get around the city I'll be using Musette again when we visit ATL.

    Mike M.

  • While visiting Atlanta we wanted to rent bikes for a ride on the Beltline. Google search led us to Jane @ Musette Bike Rentals. Service was amazing as Jane agreed to deliver & pickup bikes at our choice of time & place. Bikes were top notch & made for a great afternoon ride on the Beltline. Have Musette Bike Rentals in my contacts for future visits to Atlanta. Highly recommend!!!

What is the Damage Waiver?

It's a convenient way for you to avoid worrying about accidental damages during your rental. By opting in, you won't be held responsible for minor mishaps like spills or small scratches. It's like having peace of mind throughout your rental period. However, do keep in mind that it's non-refundable and an optional add-on, and you're free to choose whether to include it or not. The damage waiver fee is $10 for the entire booking.

What is the Security Deposit?

It's a standard procedure to ensure that any potential damages or extra charges during your rental are covered. The security deposit acts as a safety net, and you'll get it back in full as long as there are no damages or outstanding fees when you return the item. We completely understand that accidents can happen, so the deposit is just a precautionary measure to protect both parties.

The security deposit fee is $100 per bicycle. It is authorized at Pickup as a hold on your credit card. Once you've successfully returned your rental without damage, we'll promptly refund the full amount back to you. For minor damage, partial refunds are possible.

FAQs

A not-so-average bike rental company comes along with not-so-average questions.

  • The company's name is inspired by the musette feed bags handed out by crewmembers to Tour de France racers. These bags have a unique shape similar to a messenger bag with a comfy crossbody strap. Some have a fun fold, while others rock a snappy closure, all designed for that quick grab-and-go action so they can fuel up with electrolytes, sugar and protein while pedaling. And guess what? The word "Musette" has a touch of French flair, meaning "haversack." So, our company name is a nod to this cool tradition, and we’re about bringing that energy and endurance to your ride with us!

  • Every rental bicycle you pick up will come equipped with what you need to ride smooth, safe, and secure. Included in the rental price of a bicycle, no matter the duration, is a MIPS helmet, a super strong lock, charming bell, and a musette bag filled with startup fuel like water and snacks.

  • When you make a reservation, you can choose to meet at our predetermined locales, what we call Rendezvous, or you can request for delivery at your Airbnb/VRBO/Booking.com or hotel within 4 miles of Atlanta’s core. No matter how long you ride for or how far, pedal easy knowing that we're looking out for you.
